At some point ...
I didn't take a phone on my gap year, nor did I have a plan of where I was going, or when. I set this site up so friends and family could contact me and know roughly where I was; it didn't need an "About" page.
The site comprised brief and rough notes on my experiences, with new pages of HTML quickly typed up on the fly with "Notepad" in internet cafes with non-UK keyboards. The look and navigation of the site was horrible even by the standards of 2005.
2015: An old work friend found me via Google and this site. So, as the site is visible to everyone I've revamped the look (but retained the original primitive rough note content complete with typos and spelling mistakes). I might, at some point, add "about info" here.
